Lisa entered the wine trade following an earlier career as a lawyer and law professor. Her career in wine has included work in retail, import and distribution channels; her current company, Tastingworks, designs to go-to-market strategies for wine regions and wineries. Lisa became a Master of Wine in 2006. She has undergraduate, graduate and law degrees from Georgetown and a doctorate from Yale. Widely published both in wine and in the law, she is the recipient of numerous awards and fellowships, among them two distinct Fulbright Scholarships (in 1990-91; 2017-18) and the Thomas Jefferson Award from the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts.
