Local filmmakers, creatives, aspiring artists: We’re excited to put on another short film showcase for the First Friday in May (which happens to be May 1st)! Submit or inquire by emailing sam.bowden@kankanindy.com.

Have a passion for music? Were you obsessed with watching MTV? Here’s your chance to create an unforgettable video that will kill the radio star.
Submission Guidelines
Must be a short film, only submissions under 10 minutes will be considered. Priority will be given to shorts 3 minutes or under, as spots are limited in our showcase.
Must prominently feature or involve music. Doesn’t have to be original music, but the film must be your own, original work (Don’t submit Telephone by Lady Gaga ft. Beyonce– we already know it’s the best of all time). Feel free to add music to footage or a short film you have already shot.
Submission Deadline: April 20th, 11:59 p.m.
Filmmakers of all experience levels are encouraged to submit. Selections will be curated by a small team at Kan-Kan, with consideration for platforming a variety of different skill levels, genres, and styles. If you have any questions, reach out to Sam at sam.bowden@kankanindy.com.
