||Join us for an outdoor screening at the Indianapolis Art Center of 'Legally Blonde'! It's a perfectly respectable place to be.
We are excited to be partnering with our friends at HOODOX to show the local short film The Brain Lair by Samuel Villagra-Stanton before this screening. The Brain Lair was an inaugural participant of LIFT, a new program supporting films that elevate Hoosier stories and raise the spirit of Indiana.
LIFT, powered by Hoodox and Indiana Humanities, supports Indiana filmmakers in producing short, uplifting stories of Hoosiers working to connect, strengthen, and celebrate their communities.
The filmmakers have provided the following brief statement on the short film:
'The Brain Lair' follows a trailblazing bookstore owner battling to keep her dream bookstore, a centerpiece of the South Bend community, from closing its doors.
DOORS AT 7:00 PM. FILM AT SUNSET (8:10pm approx).
