SUPRA! Georgian Wine Dinner

March 29 @ 6:30 pm - 9:00 pm

Please join us on Friday, March 29th, at 6:30 pm, for an informative 3-course dinner paired with 5 incredible wines from Georgia, the birthplace of wine!

The country of Georgia, nestled in the Caucasus Mountains, has an ancient wine culture, dating to around 6,000 BC.  Local importers, Kirk and Lauren Parsons, want to bring a taste of that culture to Indiana. The Parsons founded Parsons Fine Imports after Kirk, a Marine Reservist, fell in love with the country, culture and wines while working there as a military contractor. Kirk will share his knowledge and passion for these wines while we sip along and enjoy a fantastic dinner prepared by Chef Michael Conley.

Sommelier Jan Bugher was able to experience the wines from the Parsons’ portfolio, and immediately thought that they would be a great fit for Kan Kan’s clientele. These are diverse  wines that pair beautifully with food.

Please note that we won’t be able to make any substitutions to this dinner and the meal is best suited to for folks who eat a little bit of everything. The meal may include meat, fish, gluten and dairy etc. Nuts can be omitted if someone has a nut allergy. Aside from nut, shellfish, or pork, no other allergies or dietary restrictions can be accommodated for this dinner. We must be informed of any allergies at least 48 hours in advance of the dinner. Please email ash@kankanindy.com with any questions.
